The Agora
Overview
The Agora is the Promenade of Starbase 47 and offers residents and visitors the finest food and wine, shopping, gambling, and transportation services available in the quadrant.
Run by UFP Colonial Administration, the Agora Central Admnistration area contains both the commercial offices for the Agora itself, and the control and command areas of sector CA activities, as well as the cargo management staff for all Starbase Cargo that is not related to Starfleet activities. You go here to arrange commercial licenses, permits, and to lease or purchase space on the Agora, or in the cargo areas on other decks.
There are monthly Agora Council meetings, in which members conduct business and vote on legislation affecting merchants. Starfleet has a representative which sits on the board and has one vote. This is primarily for Starfleet's interests (Assay office, Replimat, etc) on the promenade.
